Why Should I Use Cloth Pads?

Your Body – Reduce your exposure to hazardous chemicals (bleaches,
formaldehydes, dioxins) and fragrances. Cloth pads are comfortable to
wear – no more "scrunching" when you walk or sweaty, moist areas!

Your Purse – Cloth pads last a long time (4 - 5 years or more). Women
can spend thousands of dollars on disposable menstrual products
throughout their menstrual years. You do the maths!

Your Earth- A woman will use approximately 10,000 disposable menstrual
products in her menstrual life. Each one of these products contribute to the
degradation of the planet, both through ingredients, the way in which it is
made, and the way it is disposed of.

Washing Cloth Menstrual Pads / Sanitary Napkins is Easy!

Soak the pads in cold water with washing powder for 2-3 hours until residue
disappears. Then either hand or machine wash with any other garments.
TIP - some customers have reported that a squirt of dishwashing liquid
could be used instead of washing powder for great results

How Long Will Cloth Menstrual Pads / Sanitary Pads Last?

Cloth sanitary pads are long lasting and should easily see you through 4 to 5
years or more if cared for according to washing instructions.

Are Cloth Sanitary Pads Waterproof?

Not all cloth sanitary pads are waterproof. Just like cloth nappies, cloth
sanitary pads come in a variety of styles.
Our Earthy Girls Cloth Sanitary Pads are an All In Ones style pad.
The Minis, Regular, Large and Night Pads are waterproof. These Earthy
Girls pads contain a hidden layer of PUL (polyurethane laminate). This
fabric is both waterproof and breathable.

How Many Cloth Sanitary Pads Do I Need?

6 x Regular and 3 x Large should be sufficient for most women.

laugh or cough (common during pregnancy) and leakage that may occur
during sporting activities after you've had babies.

Mild incontinence does not include - complete loss of bladder control.
