PUL stands for "polyurethane laminate". The polyurethane is literally laminated. PUL is used for nappies due to it's ability to breath while remaining waterproof, encouraging less sweating for baby. PUL comes in different qualities. The originally released PUL has a life span limited to approximately 100 washes. The newer 2ml PUL has a much longer lifespan and is used for most waterproofing parts of a modern cloth nappy system. |
